Editing Database Selection Lists:

Throughout the 'Consult' Timesheet system there are various lists users can select from to typically classify your data. These are all configurable using the 'Management Module'. They include:

'Stage of Works' classification:

This list is presented to the user when they set or view the details of a project. By setting the project to one of the list values all system users are aware of where the project currently stands. The default list is aimed at an architect or structural engineer needing to track  what stage each of their construction jobs are at.

Once a project is classified it will be included in the "Project Status" report available on the 'Reports' menu. If you have a classification that you would like excluded from this report, remove the tick from the 'Include in Reports' box.
Use the 'Add New' button to add another item to the list and the 'Delete' button to remove a listing.
Navigation throught the list of contacts is by clicking the one of the buttons at the bottom of the form:
Takes the user to the first record in the list.
Takes the user to the previous record.
Takes the user to the next record.
Take you to the last record in the list.

'Work Type' Classification:

The 'Work Type' classification is used to classify or group 'time items'. This gives management means to classify the type of work an employee may have completed on a project.
An example being an engineer who spent 2 hours on a site visit and 4 hours doing design work back in the office. Details of these differing work types would be broken down in the project summary report allowing management to understand what the time was spent on.

'Units' List:

The 'Units' list is used when entering 'expense items'. By selecting an item from the list you can clarify the type of expense entered into the system.
An example is petrol. If the entire tank full could be allocated to a project  you would enter a quantity of '1' and a rate of $45. In this case you would select 'item' from the 'Units' list. But if you work on a distance basis, enter 34 (km) in the quantity field, $0.65 in the rate field, then select 'km' from the units list.
As with the above classification lists you can add to or edit these lists.

'Allocatable Staff' List:

When configuring a project management can assign staff members to build up a team to handle that job in the 'Project Editing' section of both the 'TimeSheet' and 'Management Module' software packages. The list of available staff members can be revised to suit your company. Simply select the 'Allocatable Staff List' item from the 'Company Projects' menu and you can add, edit or delete items from the list as described above.
