Entering Times:
"TimeSheet" Package
On opening the 'Timesheet' package you will be presented with a screen
similar to that shown below.
To edit or view details of times entered on a specific date, 'click' on the
required date (the 16th has been selected here) and details will be displayed in
the grid on the right. Each line in this grid represents a 'time' item. For instance in the top
line shows 4 hours was spent in a 'Site Visit' for the project call 'Sample
Project' (with job number of '3').

You will see that the bottom line in the grid is blank. This is
for the entry of new 'time' items. To add a new item click on this blank line in
the 'Hours' column and type a number then move to the 'Job Name' column. When
you move to this cell a small buttom will appear (like:
). Click this button and list of projects will drop down for you to select from.
From there you can similarily select a 'Work Type' from a drop-down list and add
notes about the time item.
This 'Work Type' is used to classify the time period. When you
come to print out your timesheet you are given a break down of the different
'Work Types' allowing you apply different charges if preferred.
Specific's:

You can only select a Project from the list provided. This
listed can be revised in the Project
Details section.

Go to the Program
Setup section to set a default value for the number of hours if you
regularly a specific period on each project.

As with the project list you can only select one of the
listed values from the 'Work Type' list. Go to the Program
Setup section to add to this list or set a default value for the 'Work
Type'.

To delete an item first click on the relevant line
then click the 'Delete Item' button or optionally select the line by
clicking the
button at the far left of the grid (this will highlight the row) and press
the 'delete' button on your keyboard. Note that you can not delete the last
blank line.

The maximum length of any note you add against a 'time'
item is 200 characters.

from month to month.
