Question: Why do I NOT have a 'Add/Edit' button available on on my 'Projects' or 'Contacts' TimeSheet tabs?
Answer: Consult 2.0 has configurable security settings (located in the 'Management Module') that restrict the user from entering specific areas of the software. Specifically in this case it stops the general user entering or editing 'Project' or 'Contacts' details. Refer to the section on Database Security.
Question: I have added a job to the project list but it does not come up in a drop-down list box for selection?
Answer: There is possibly two answers here: one is that the drop-down list needs refreshing. Step out of the area you are in (even close the program and re-open it, if required) then check if it has come up in the list. Option two is that it may have been marked as 'Archived' from within the Management Module. See the Archiving Projects section of this help system.
Question: I need to change the GST rate for a tax invoice. How do I do this?
Answer: If the government permanently change the rate then go to the 'Invoice Configuration' section and enter a new rate. Any new invoices created will use this new GST rate. No existing invoices will be effected by this change.
