Form/Page

A single screen displayed when a user opens a section of the software. It may be the 'Projects' section which displays a 'form' containing all the information about the projects or jobs. Typically (but not always) only one form can be opened at one time. If more than one form is open, then one may have the 'focus'. This means the user is restricted to accessing that one form only and should finish using that one before closing it and moving to the next.

Job

Project

A single job or work item that a company may be working on. In this software it is a task you may wish to apply time or expenses against for summarising latter.

Refresh

The term 'refresh' is typically used in this software to describe the uploading of data from any number of remote employee personnel databases into the project database file. Once this process is complete a variety of reports can be produced summarising the information. See the section on 'Employee Configuration'.

Right-click

Click the right button on your mouse over the specified item on the screen. This process typically presents the users with a menu of functions.
