Management Module Reports:
"Management Module"
The Management Module contains a number of reports to help the user in
dissecting the large amount of information presented to them. They include:
Project List Reports:
Printing a "Project List" presents the user with three options.
One prints all the projects listed in the system. This list can get extensive so
a further two options have been provided, one to print a list of projects based
on two job numbers (every project should have a unique job number) and secondly
between two entered dates. These dates relate to when the project was loaded
into the system.
The resulting report can be listed in 'ascending' or 'descending' (default)
order (of the job numbers). Also provided is the option to include 'Archived'
projects in the list (the default is not to include these jobs).
Project Summary Reports:
The Project Summary report comes in two flavours. A complete report is
produced when you select the single project from the list provided. The
alternate smaller report is produced when selecting the "All Projects
worked on during Month of:" option.
This smaller report summaries previous months results but displays full
details on the selected month. Use the up-down arrow buttons to the right of the
month to step to the desired month or alternately type in the required date.

The Project Summary report lists details about the project
including client information. A summary of the time each staff member spent on
the project is grouped under the month and 'Work Type' classification. This
grouping is repeated for the expenses and a summary of any invoices is displayed
below.
Project Status Report:
The "Project Status Report" lists all projects under
their 'Status' classification. Refer to Project
Status section of this help file for assisitance on this subject.
Employee TimeSheet:
The Management Module repeats the printout capabilities of the
TimeSheet software and allows the user to printout a Timesheet report for any
currently listed employee. To print out a timesheet the user must select a staff
member name from the lists and state a specific month they would like
summarised.
Note that the list of employee's or staff members is based on
those names listed in the Employee Section
of the database.
Note that the information presented in
this report is extracted from the users personnel Timesheet database. The
information displayed in the summary reports could vary if the project details
have not been refreshed recently. Refer to the Employee
Configuration section on how to refresh these details.
The printout reports in the 'Management Module' are produced
using the 'Crystal Reports' design software. This is a powerful reporting system
with extensive features. Users are invited to talk to 'Visual Windows Software
Ltd' about your requirements as they could be included in future software
upgrades, if appropriate.
